Jokemaster

Description

The jokemaster entertains us with a joke towards the beginning of the meeting. There are 2 minutes alloted for this, but it is not timed.

Responsbilities prior to meeting

Come prepared with a joke to tell the club. Try to keep it clean, but don’t be afraid to be controversial. Rehearse your joke just as you would a speech.

Responsibilities during meeting

When called upon by the TM, come to the front of the room, shake the TM’s hand and tell the club your joke.

Special notes

Telling a good joke is hard and this is a speaking opportunity. Do not read your joke! Rehearse and memorize your joke using techniques of good speaking such as eye contact, hand gestures, vocal variety, props etc.
